Llama = woolly animal originating from South America.
Lama = a Buddhist priest or monk in Tibet and Mongolia.

The sign (relatively clearly) reads "Lama". The fact remains that the animal in question is clearly neither a llama nor a lama, though it seems to me that there is more chance or it being the latter than the former.

What I find particularly troubling is that no one would believe for a second that you were a llama (or a lama) if you did that gesture. The public needs guidance.
